This modern carpet is handknotted in the district around Bhadohi and Mirzapur near the city of Benares, close to the Ganges River in India. it is a contemporary handknotted carpet produced in enviroment-friendly and
ethically-correct workshops. The wool used is of high quality wool from New Zealand and artificial silk is used for the details. The carpet is considered to be very durable.
