This carpet is knotted in the city of Joshegan in northwestern Iran. The pattern on this carpet is often geometrical with a diamond shaped medallion in the middle containing several smaller medallions. Dominating colours are often dark red with powerful blue elements and ivory coloured details. The carpet is of excellent quality and very beautiful.
