This piece is an abstraction of the beautiful sunset on Salvadoran beaches, the sky in my country is the scene of many colors that change throughout the year. In this case with my design I show a yellow circle that represents the sun, the white color to represent the clouds and the green color the branches of the tall palm trees, vegetation very characteristic of our beaches; the magenta symbolizes the color of the sky that is always a combination of roses, violets and oranges and of course the sky blue that represents the waves of the sea. All these very bright colors like us Salvadorans very lively and full of joy.

Esta pieza es una abstracción de la hermosa puesta de sol en las playas salvadoreñas, el cielo de mi país es escenario de muchos colores que cambian a lo largo del año. En este caso con mi diseño muestro un círculo amarillo que representa el sol, el color blanco para representar las nubes y el color verde las ramas de las palmeras altas, vegetación muy característica de nuestras playas; El magenta simboliza el color del cielo que es siempre una combinación de rosas, violetas y naranjas y, por supuesto, el azul celeste que representa las olas del mar. Todos estos colores muy brillantes como nosotros los salvadoreños muy animados y llenos de alegría.

My name is Erika Herrera I am 26 years old and I live in the city of San Salvador, I am an architect currently working in a nonprofit organization that helps poor Salvadoran families to improve their living conditions. I really like my job because it allows me to realize the dreams of many people and receive their smile as a reward, but I also love art and it has always been part of my life. Especially I feel a great passion for graphic design, I try in each of my architectural projects to show a little my passion for it. I like traveling a lot because I find in each city that I visit my source of inspiration.

Mi nombre es Erika Herrera Tengo 26 años y vivo en la ciudad de San Salvador, soy una arquitecta que actualmente trabaja en una organización sin fines de lucro que ayuda a las familias salvadoreñas pobres a mejorar sus condiciones de vida. Me gusta mucho mi trabajo porque me permite hacer realidad los sueños de muchas personas y recibir su sonrisa como recompensa, pero también amo el arte y siempre ha sido parte de mi vida. Especialmente siento una gran pasión por el diseño gráfico, intento en cada uno de mis proyectos arquitectónicos mostrar un poco mi pasión por ello. Me gusta viajar mucho porque encuentro en cada ciudad que visito mi fuente de inspiración.
